Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Senior Adult Unit at Addison Gilbert Hospital. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to senior adult patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards, physician orders, and facility policies
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the EHR
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes with appropriate interventions
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience (SNF/LTC or geriatric care preferred)
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in senior adult/geriatric units
• Familiarity with [EHR system used at facility]
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
