Patient Types:

Common diagnosis: Typical nursing home patients stable, Dementia, long term care residents

Comfort Care patients Nurse would collaborate with MH Hospice RN s that come to the facility to see these residents provide comfort care as needed

No traches, vents, occasionally feeding tubes, occasional IV s, some catheter care

Patient Ratios:

Nurse - 1:25-30; 2 nurses per shift could be an RN/LPN or LPN/LPN

Regulation is that there must be an RN in the building for 8 hrs every day; will have Med aide to help pass meds Medication aide - 1:25-30; 2 MA per shift

Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility

Required Certifications:RN: BLS
