Job Duties:

• Provide nursing care for high-risk maternal patients including cesarean sections, inductions, and bariatric patients.
• Monitor fetal heart tones using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and respond appropriately.
• Manage antepartum patient care with an emphasis on maternal and fetal well-being.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective maternal care.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR system.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or high-risk maternal care.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and EFM National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN certification within the last 3 years (proof of class registration acceptable at submission).
• Epic EMR experience is required.
• Must be able to work night shifts.

Required Skills:

• Advanced skills in cesarean sections, inductions, and care of bariatric and high-risk maternal patients.
• Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in maternal-fetal nursing.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
