Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal high volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service Description: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider certification from an accepted organization. Registered Nurse license. Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Advanced Life Support certification from an accepted organization. Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service is required. Education: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing is required. Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service. Completion of the S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification. Unit Description: A Level IV Client Designation facility with various delivery and care suites. The facility performs over 500 deliveries per month. Provides 24-hour in-house coverage by attending OB staff, anesthesia, and NICU. Includes a Perinatal Transport Program. Expansion planned in late 2025 to a new Women's Tower. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
