This position involves a day shift with the option to pick up additional shifts. The contract length is open to 8, 10, or 13 weeks. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred. The position requires the administration of medications and blood products. Candidates must have experience with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care. Support for breastfeeding and infant care education is also required. Nurses will be involved in patient assessment and monitoring during labor. Experience with fetal heart rate monitoring is essential. Members of the team will collaborate with interdisciplinary support services. This position requires adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
