Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Merced, California.

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of laboring and antepartum patients, including those on magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using AWHONN intermediate EFM standards.
• Circulate for C-section deliveries and assist in emergency situations.
• Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocics, per physician orders.
• Collaborate with OB techs, physicians, NICU team, and ancillary staff to ensure safe and effective care.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
• Adhere to baby-friendly and golden hour protocols, performing hourly rounding and bedside reporting.
• Utilize Cerner, Fetal Link, and McRoberts MyChild EMR systems for documentation.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols in all aspects of care.
