Job Description: Travel RN - Labor and Delivery (Days)

Location: Albany, NY 12208Duration: 13 WeeksShift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) / Every Other Weekend, Rotating Holidays

Position Summary: Albany Medical Center is seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold current certifications specific to Labor and Delivery nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to Albany Medical Center's protocols and dress code, including wearing navy blue scrubs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR systems (Epic experience REQUIRED).
• Float to other units as required by the department.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• EFM National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN certification issued within the past 3 years (or proof of class registration at time of submission).
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Navy blue scrubs mandatory.
• Candidates from certain local counties may not be eligible (refer to Albany Medical Center's ineligible counties list).
