Job Description:HumanEdge Health is seeking a skilled Travel Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in Albany, NY. This is a great opportunity to join a high-acuity, fast-paced L&D unit providing care through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages. Nurses with a strong clinical foundation in fetal monitoring and Epic documentation are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in labor, including assessment, monitoring, and emotional support

• Administer medications and perform interventions as ordered, including epidurals, Pitocin, and emergency response

• Monitor fetal heart tones and contractions using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)

• Assist with deliveries and care of newborns immediately postpartum

• Communicate effectively with obstetricians, neonatologists, and the care team

• Document all care in Epic in a timely and accurate manner

• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license – required

• Epic EMR experience – required

• BLS & ACLS (AHA) – required

• EFM Certification (through National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN) – must be issued within the last 3 years

  • Proof of class registration for AWHONN certification is acceptable at time of submission; certification must be completed for compliance

• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience – required

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
