• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Minimum Experience: 2yr+ of OB experience, must have Critical Access Hospital experience, MedSurg experience
• Required Certifications: compact RN LIC , NRP, AHA BLS
• Shift Requirements: 12hr Day Shifts
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend, holiday rotation
• Float Requirements: Will be required to float to like units as need, MedSurg
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
• Charting Experience: Epic preferred
• REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Nurse to Patient Ratio: OB - (Low risk) 1:1 active labor, 1:2 for early labor, post-partum (couplets) up to 1:3 (1:3 is a rare occurrence), Med/Surg - up to 1:5 typical is 1:3-4
• Candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start
• HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS: Rotating

• Unit Information: 25 bed Critical Access Hospital. Med/Surg 20 beds, OB 4 LDRP, 1 post-partum/c-section prep
• Average Daily Census: Med/Surg 8 - 10, majority are skilled care level, OB average 85 - 90 deliveries per year
• GSA is not guaranteed orientation week
• Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
