Position Description

Riverview Medical Center South is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum unit. Join our team in Carthage, TN, a charming town located on the Cumberland River, offering a variety of water activities such as fishing, boating, and more at Cordell Hull Lake and the Defeated Creek Marina. Enjoy the serene environment with the convenience of being just an hour's drive from the vibrant city of Nashville.

• Years of Experience: At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Float Requirements: Will not float

• Number of Beds: 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Equipment: EHR: Meditech
• Patient Population: Maternity women and newborns

• Must Have Skills/Experience: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Labor and Delivery experience, fetal monitoring
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: PALS, Centricity and Meditech experience (not a must), Couplet care
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Labor
• Personality Fit: Positive attitude, cooperative, possesses initiative
• Required Education: RN or BSN
