Interventional Radiology RN (Overnight Shift)

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active NY RN license (required).
• Experience:
  • 2+ years in IR, Critical Care, or PACU (required).
  • 1+ year travel experience (for travel positions).
  • Procedures: Radiation safety, post-procedural recovery, hemodynamic monitoring.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required).
• Skills:
  • Epic proficiency (highly preferred).
  • Patient ratio: 3:1 (post-procedure recovery).

Unit Details:

• Scope: IR procedures, patient recovery, potential floats to Radiology (CT/MRI) and PACU.
• Patient Population: Complex interventional cases (vascular, neuro, oncology).
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre/post-procedure care, sedation monitoring, emergency response.
