**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology (Rotating Shift)****Job Description:**We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Interventional Radiology (IR) team. This position involves a 4x10 rotating shift schedule, which includes floating, working on holidays, weekends, and on-call/callback responsibilities. As a RN in this fast-paced environment at a level 1 trauma center, you will provide exceptional care for both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan.**Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.- Monitor and provide care for patients who require overnight observation after procedures.- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.- Demonstrate strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities, fostering a team-oriented environment.- Provide care for patients undergoing various diagnostic imaging modalities, including CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasound.**Qualifications:**- Must hold an active New York RN license.- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Interventional Radiology is required.- Telemetry experience is mandatory.- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required, issued by the American Heart Association.- Experience in medical/surgical nursing and telemetry is preferred.**Behavioral Characteristics:**- Strong organizational skills and flexibility in adapting to varying patient needs.- Enthusiastic approach to providing quality care in a high-energy environment.**Guaranteed Hours:** 89 Contract Weeks**Why Join Us?**At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
