HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.
Job Description & Requirements

Rate Adjustments:
- $5/hour less if candidate resides within 51–100 miles
- $10/hour less if candidate resides within 50 miles or less
Note: Distance is calculated in a straight line, not by driving distance.

Unit Details:
- Unit: Miller 3 - PCU (Cardiac Progressive Care Stepdown)
- Focus: Telemetry/Surgical
- Must be willing to float to similar units
- Manager is open to candidates without A-Line experience if they have Post-Op Day 1 OH (CABG) experience
Holiday Requirement:Travelers must be available to work 2 out of the following 4 holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of total nursing experience
- At least 1 year of experience in the PCU unit
- Certifications Required: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (prior to start)
- PCCN preferred
- Must have experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center within the past year
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
- Must have cardiothoracic/vascular and cardiac experience
- Must have experience with post-op day 1 hearts (open/closed)
Additional Information:
- IVS to Offer
- Schedule: Monday–Sunday (no block scheduling allowed)
- Bi-weekly orientation on Mondays – next available: September 8
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Full work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) is mandatory
Travel & Transportation Notice:
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area
- A personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
- From November to April, vehicles should have all-season or snow tires
