Baylor Registered Nurse – Hospice Full Time, Weekend Service Area: Upper Valley VT/NH Why work as a Baylor Registered Nurse - Hospice at Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire? We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our Hospice patients. This Baylor position works on-call from Friday 4:30 pm – Sunday 4:30 pm. Location: White River Junction, VT area Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT & NH covers more than 70 towns delivering superior nursing, rehabilitation, hospice, and personal care services with proven effectiveness, integrity, and compassion. Our only goal is to help the people in our communities. When you join Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT & NH, you'll become part of a dedicated team delivering outstanding home health and hospice services that enrich the lives of the people we serve. Hospice RN's at VNH focus on providing pain management and comfort for patients with terminal or chronic illness as well as coordinates and communicates with our interdisciplinary team members and the patient and their families/caregivers. How you'll make an impact as a Baylor Registered Nurse - Hospice: Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend, as needs arise for our patients. Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy. Build trusting compassionate relationships with your patients and their families. Empower caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one. Help the patient and family maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping. Maintains continuity of care in coordinating with the care team and case manager for patients with ongoing needs. Minimum Qualifications: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Medical/Surgical/Oncology nursing and/or hospice care experience preferred.
