Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health Hospice contract opportunity servicing patients in Jefferson City, MO.RN must have at least 12 months of Hospice experience within the past 3 years.Pay:

• $2,126 estimated weekly travel pay package
• Local candidate pay rate: $50/hr
• Mileage reimbursement

• 13 weeks to start (with option to extend)

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• No weekends
• 40 hours guaranteed a week
• Territory: 60 mile radius from office

Job Details:

• The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient's family
• Maintains an accurate and updated medical record, including all Interdisciplinary notes, Plans of Care, initial and on-going assessments and any other information pertinent to the care of the patient.
• Works closely with other members of the Interdisciplinary Group to provide all-inclusive physical, psychosocial, educational, emotional and spiritual services including bereavement support to the patient and family to achieve the highest quality of care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as an RN, either in acute care hospital, oncology, long-term care, hospice and home health. School internships and clinical hours may be considered as experience in individual cases.
• Knowledge of terminally ill patients and their families along with understanding of hospice; ability to apply knowledge of the special needs of hospice patient and families.
• Current CPR certification required
