Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Fort Worth, Texas.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Must be valid in Texas.
• Hospice experience – Required; general palliative or home health experience is not enough.
• Full-time availability – Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
• Case management skills – Ability to manage a patient caseload and coordinate care across settings.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams (IDT) – Must work collaboratively with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) – Accurate, timely documentation that meets regulatory and legal standards.
• Knowledge of NHPCO hospice standards – Must provide care in line with National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization guidelines.

• Comprehensive patient assessment – Physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural.
• Individualized plan of care development – Adjusting plans as patient needs change.
• Pain and symptom management – Creating and implementing pain control strategies.
• End-of-life care – Supporting safe and dignified dying, life closure, and grief processes.
• Patient and family education – Teaching about interventions, medications, and symptom expectations.
• Comfort care expertise – Anticipating and preventing secondary symptoms.
