This is a RN Travel position. As part of a collaborative and supportive healthcare team, you will assess patient needs, develop and adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and advocate for optimal patient outcomes.You will work a rotational schedule covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care by applying clinical judgment, nursing theory, and current practice standards
• Assess and monitor patient condition and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to plan and coordinate care
• Administer medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Provide individualized patient and family education to support post-discharge recovery
• Promote patient safety and infection control in all areas of care
• Participate in quality improvement activities and self-directed professional development
• Contribute to a healing environment that supports both physical and emotional well-being

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered New York State RN license
• Must be cross trained for multi units (Med/Surg, ICU, ER)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI only)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
• Must be willing to rotate shifts including weekends and holidays
• Local candidates are not eligible to apply for RN travel positions
