Job Details:

• Specialty: Float RN (Med-Surg/ER)
• Ratios: 1:4–6 depending on acuity
• Common Patients: wound care, rehab, IV antibiotics, cellulitis, a-fib, falls
• Drips: Heparin & Insulin (must be comfortable titrating)
• Tele: Must read & interpret own strips
• Support Staff: CNAs (shared with ER), Shift Supervisor
• Certifications: BLS required
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years RN (no first-time travelers)
• Shifts: 12s, block scheduling when possible
• Floating: Required between Acute Care & ER
• Scrubs: Any color
• Orientation: 1–2 shifts with preceptor

Additional Notes:

• Must be resourceful & independent (no RRT/IV team)
• Rural location; housing is limited (Airbnb options available)
• Flexible travelers strongly preferred
