Job Title: Registered Nurse – First Assist (RNFA)Location: Canton, OHSchedule: Nights, 3x12 (19:00–07:00) | 13-week contract

Job Description:

• Provide first-assist support in cardiothoracic OR procedures, including vein harvesting and complex CVOR surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons and OR team to ensure safe, efficient intraoperative care.
• Assist with patient preparation, surgical exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure.
• Float to main OR when CVOR cases are not scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license (or Compact RN license).
• RNFA certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVOR RNFA experience (including vein harvesting).
• Two recent professional references in specialty required.
