Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Holiday requirements are mandatory. The ER has 8 beds. Nurse to patient ratios in the ER are typically 1 to 2, potentially 1 to 4. The average daily census in the ER is approximately 29 patients. Travelers will not be required to float. Generally, travelers are not put on call unless requested. The medication system used is Pyxis. There is provider coverage with NP/PA from 10 AM to 8 PM every day. Cancellation policy allows the client to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks. The charting system used is EpicCare Inpatient.
