Weekend shift coverage is required; details to be discussed during the interview. First-timers are accepted. No on-call requirements. Nursing staff will not need to float between units. Current drivers license is required. Reliable transportation is necessary. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in medical-surgical nursing. The nurse will work 3 nights per week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on weekends only. Patient ratios are approximately 6-8 patients per day. Any requests for time off must be approved at the time of submission. Requests for time off will not be considered after an offer is extended. Holidays cannot be taken off in their entirety. All call-outs must be given with ample notice, more than 24 hours in advance. The role involves seeing a variety of inpatient and outpatient cases. Experience with electronic health records, specifically Epic, is preferred. Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months before returning as travelers. Modules are billable and will be completed during orientation. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed.
