TravelNurseSource is working with Infojini Healthcare to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Schenectady, New York, 12301! Pay Information $2,070 per week About The Position ID: 55604151 Shift: 12H Night Description: SUBMISSION GUIDE: - ICU, ER and MS RNs: All previous perm or per diem staff cannot travel at Ellis Hospital, no matter how much time has elapsed. - HCP can only be submitted to one Ellis need at a time. - Ellis bill rates are the same for local and travel professionals. - Full SSN, DOB and RTO must be provided. - Prior travel preferred, not required. - No self-scheduling. - HCP will be scheduled based upon the needs of the facility. - No block scheduling. - NYS license at time of submission. (*Can screen without). - We can screen to manager if hcp has at least 1 year of exp in specialty unless otherwise specified in position notes. - Please do not include photo ID and SSN card in submission pack. ORIENTATIONS: - RN / LPN orientations at Ellis are bi-weekly. (*ER RN every other Tuesday; All other RN/LPN every other Monday.) - Allied orientations are weekly on Mondays. ATTIRE: - Scrub color provided in UD. - Shoe information provided in UD. - No artificial or gel nails; no chipped polish GENERAL INFO: - Covid and flu declinations accepted. - BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) can be obtained prior to start date. - All compliance docs due 7 days prior to start date. - EMR: Cerner - All travelers are required to float to units within their competencies. Requisition Comments and for Andriah Emery.ER RN, 12H Nights- 7p-7:30a with 30-minute unpaid break, every other weekend required, no call. No self-scheduling. HCP will be scheduled based upon the needs of the facility. No block scheduling. Will float to ED Observation Unit. Drips; Infusions; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs; EKGs; Transports; med admin. REQUIREMENTS: - NYS license. - Recent Nursys. - 2 years experience in specialty preferred. *Can screen to manager with 1 year in specialty. - BLS, ACLS and PALS (AHA or Am. Red Cross) required; PALS is required at time of submission. - Prefer TNCC and ENPC - CPI certification is preferred. Please add verification to pack if hcp has this cert. - Prior travel experience preferred, but not required. Nurse: Patient ratio - 1:5 Pt Pop: All IVS to Interview and Offer with 4 days or less RTO and no holiday rto and at least 2 years exp in specialty. UNIT SPECIFICS: 70 bed unit. The state-of-the-art Neil and Jane Golub Center for Emergency A4 Care at Ellis Hospital provides an array of services, including, but not limited to, the evaluation and stabilization of illness and trauma, and the diagnosis and treatment of patients with urgent and chronic medical, surgical, dental, and emotional needs. Specialty and tertiary services include - cardiac, vascular and thoracic medicine, hematology and toxicology, neurology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, orthopedic medicine, ophthalmology, gynecology, pediatrics and psychiatric crisis intervention. A dedicated mental health crisis stabilization unit, located within the ED, provides care for those patients seeking help for mental health issues.
