Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent emergency department experience. License: Must have a current Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC - all must be active. Must-Have: - Epic experience. - One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be completed with acceptable scores. - Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable, and no exceptions will be made. Minimum of 18 months permanent emergency department experience is needed prior to travel. Must have an Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, and acceptable scores are required. Traveler will receive two attempts maximum to pass these assessments; otherwise, the profile will be canceled. No non-supervisory references will be accepted. Only candidates with no open background checks or license issues will be considered. Nurses are currently exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements as of September 30, 2022. Negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of the start and must be updated annually. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for one year from their previous end date. Candidates will need to complete onsite fingerprints prior to the start date. Modules required for various specialties must be completed prior to starting. Annual modules will be billed up to a maximum of four hours, applicable to travelers continuously contracted for a year.
