Qualifications

• Advanced degree, Ph.D, Ed.D, or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure
• Certification in nursing leadership
• Experience in leadership or supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills

Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive system wide nursing education strategy that aligns educational initiatives with organizational goals clinical quality metrics and evidence-based best practices. This strategy should include:· Orientation· Onboarding· Competency assessments· Ongoing professional developmentServe as a thought leader and advisor to system leadership on nursing education and workforce development needsEstablish and maintain nursing policies procedures and standards of care that reflect best practices and regulatory requirementsEnsure equitable access to educational resources for all facilities and departments being mindful to address diverse learning needsLead initiatives to support specialty certifications and advanced practice roles
