First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Geneva, New York.Job Description & Requirements* Specialty: ED - Emergency Department* Discipline: RN* Start Date: 09/01/2025* Duration: 26 weeks* 48 hours per week* Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating* Employment Type: Travel* Sick Leave - 26 hours Paid* Orientation - PaidER D/N/W/Holiday rotation- 3x12s + 2 On Call shifts per 4 weeksBLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI)Two years acute hospital experience as an RNOne year ED hospital experience as an RN-Connects with patient and family during triage. Identifies the initial management of patients of all age groups and assigns priority of care in accordance with Triage Standards as outlined in the ESI training.-Establishes rapport with patients and families, addresses comfort needs, listens carefully, assesses nonverbal communication, and provides frequent updates.-Conveys and gathers information concisely and accurately.-Conducts primary assessment of critical need, detects and documents any major deviation from norm for all age groups within acceptable time frames, and correctly identifies the necessary steps/interventions required.
