Position Overview: Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Maysville, Kentucky. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department during mid-day to evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, and treatment
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Kentucky or compact state license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an emergency room setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
