Assignment Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Shift: Mids, 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ years Emergency Room experience

• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, SAMA (or equivalent)

• TNCC and ENPC preferred

• EMR: Cerner

Job Summary:The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, quality nursing care to ER patients in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership while anticipating and planning for the care of patients in urgent and emergent situations. Duties include: performing comprehensive assessments, prioritizing patient care, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary staff, delegating appropriately, and supervising team members to ensure effective delivery of emergency care.
