Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Sacramento, California.

Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)Shift: 8-Hour Days + Required Call (40 hrs/week, 13 weeks)Setting: Acute Care – Cardiovascular Operating Room

Requirements:

• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years CVOR (must scrub), 1st-time travelers accepted
• Skills:
  • Able to scrub for CABG, valves, and other cardiac surgeries (no thoracic)
  • Able to read & interpret EKG strips
  • Cerner EMR experience
  • Strong CVOR background, confident in fast-paced environments

Unit & Schedule Details:

• Suites: 4
• Surgeries/day: 4–6
• Staff: Charge Nurse, Nurse Aides, CSTs
• Weekend Call: 3 weekend days/month (1 full weekend call per month)
• Overnight Call: Once per week
• Holidays: Rotates with core staff
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Support Services: 24/7 RT & Pharmacy; Surgeon available 24/7; IV team not available
• Orientation: 1–2 days in OR with preceptor
