Now Hiring: Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiothoracic ICUImportant: Applicants must reside 75 miles or more from Utica, NYLocation: Utica, NYDuration: 13 weeks and Schedule is 12-hour Night shiftKey Responsibilities:Provide critical care to patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic surgeries (e.g., CABG, valve replacements, heart/lung transplants, thoracic aneurysm repairs)Manage and titrate critical IV drips, including vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, and anticoagulantsCare for patients with mechanical circulatory support devices, such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), Impella, ECMO, or ventricular assist devices (VADs)Perform advanced procedures, such as chest tube management, ventilator support, and post-operative wound careQualifications:Experience with fresh hearts is REQUIREDMinimum 2 years of acute hospital care experienceTravel Experience RequiredCurrent NYS RN licenseEPIC experience requiredAHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
