The ideal candidate is confident managing complex cardiac patients and advanced support devices immediately post-op.Must-Have Experience:Fresh post-op heart (must be able to take the patient directly from the OR)Proficient in managing CRRT, Impella, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)2+ years recent experience in ICU, CTICU, SICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICUPrior travel nursing experience preferredUnit Information:Unit: CTICUBeds: 6Common Diagnoses: Cardiothoracic surgery, cardiogenic shock, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)Drips & Medications:Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, DopamineVasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NitroglycerinAntiarrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, LidocaineSedation: Precedex, Propofol, FentanylTPN & InsulinEquipment: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP Monitoring, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) with Artic SunSubmission Requirements:Must meet the 75-mile radius rule to qualify for travel ratesLocals (within 75 miles) accepted at local rateUpdated resume documenting 2+ years of relevant ICU experience and travel history2 recent RN Charge/Manager references from ICU placementsSkills checklist matching ICU/CTICU specialtyDriver's license (address must match demographic submission)Certifications (current & valid):AHA BLSAHA ACLSNIHSSActive NY RN license with verification from NURSYSAll RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of submissionApply Now!!
