Position Overview:HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology RN for a travel assignment in an outpatient oncology clinic in Rochester, NY. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing critical care and support to both adult and pediatric oncology patients undergoing radiation treatment.

This is a Monday–Friday position, ideal for RNs seeking a day-shift schedule in a highly specialized outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after radiation therapy

• Provide education on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management

• Conduct telephone triage and care coordination

• Administer IV fluids and contrast dye for imaging as needed

• Access ports and manage central lines

• Assist with special exams and collaborate closely with radiation oncologists and multidisciplinary care teams

• Care for patients with diagnoses including head and neck, lung, prostate, breast, skin cancers, and more

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN license (must be in hand before start)

• Recent experience in radiation oncology (preferred)

• Experience accessing ports (required)

• Telemetry experience required

• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Required Certifications:

• BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

• ACLS – American Heart Association ONLY
