Job Title: Level IV Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab - Critical care or cardiac experience required License: - Registered Nurse License (New York License ONLY) Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - Moderate sedation trained - Dysrhythmia telemetry Must-Have: - Experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchman - Experience in right heart and left heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO, PCI, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical circulatory support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, valvuloplasty, and ASA Description: The Cath Lab focuses on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. The lab cares for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. There is a comprehensive program with pre and post-procedural care holding area. The practice model involves strong collaboration between RN staff and CVT. This role emphasizes excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Candidates must possess substantial experience in various cardiac interventions and mechanical support devices. Familiarity with device and ablation procedures is preferred. Cardiovascular certification or RCES is a plus.
