Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab Tech Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience, Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR Description: This position is for a travel RN specializing in the Cath Lab. The focus will be on patient care in a high-acuity setting. The unit has 7 holding beds and operates on a patient ratio suited for effective staffing. Key equipment includes GE Innova and Impella systems. Documentation is completed using MacLab and Meditech systems. Schedule requires availability from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday. Participation in STEMI call is required approximately 10 to 12 days per month. Self-scheduling options are available within the department. Floating within departments, such as EP and Stress Lab, may be required. Advanced skills required include PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP. Common procedures performed include TAVR, PFOA, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, and DCCV, TEE. Surgical scrubs will be provided.
