Position Overview:HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager / Utilization Review / Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialist for a travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. The RN will provide case management, utilization review, and documentation support across multiple units in both hospital campuses.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hospital case management and utilization review for med-surg and ICU patients.

• Support clinical documentation improvement (CDI) initiatives.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, compliant documentation.

• Utilize EPIC EMR to track patient care, interventions, and outcomes.

• Provide consultative support to staff and physicians regarding documentation and patient care planning.

Required Experience:

• EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience

• Acute care hospital case management experience

Preferred Experience:

• Emergency Department Case Management

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN License

• BLS Certification (current and recertifiable)

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within past 2 years) in hospitals of similar size/trauma level

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims

• Legal right to work in the U.S.

• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check
