RN Cath Lab

Job Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester, NY 14626-4182

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Description:

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years
  • Must have both Cath Lab & IR experience (IR-only not accepted)
  • Unit accepts first-time travelers with EPIC experience
• Schedule:
  • 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
  • 8–10 call shifts/month (includes 1 full weekend)
• Licensing:
  • Active state license required (no pending)
  • Locals not accepted (within 75 miles)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Key Skills:
  • Cardiac: Diagnostic/Interventional Caths, PCI, Stents, IABP, Impella, Pacemaker/Defibrillator extraction, Left/Right Heart Caths
  • IR: Angioplasty, Embolization, Stent Grafts, Biopsies, Tube/Drain placements, Dialysis graft procedures
  • Monitoring: Procedural sedation, Dysrhythmias, Swan Ganz, Central Venous Access, Infection prevention
  • Other: 12-lead EKG, IV infusion pumps, EPIC proficiency
• Patient Population:
  • Cath: Diagnostic/interventional cardiac patients
  • IR: Patients requiring drains, tubes, biopsies, kyphoplasty, etc.
• Other Details:
  • EPIC experience required, non-negotiable
