Travel RN – Cath Lab (Level IV) | 13 Weeks | Rochester, NY

Position Overview:

Join a renowned Cardiac Cath and EP Lab team providing high-acuity care for both adult and pediatric patients in one of Upstate New York's leading medical centers. This Level IV RN role supports inpatient and outpatient procedures, with advanced interventions and collaboration across nursing and CVT roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

• Administer moderate sedation, monitor vitals and dysrhythmias

• Provide critical care decision-making during high-risk cardiac procedures

• Collaborate in emergency responses and post-procedural stabilization

• Participate in on-call rotation, including late days, nights, weekends, holidays

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience

• Experience with all of the following required:

  • TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman

  • Right & Left Heart Caths, PCI, CTO, Pericardiocentesis

  • Vascular Interventions: RotoPro, AngioVac, FlowTriever

  • Mechanical Support: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD

  • Structural Heart Procedures: CardioMEMS, PFO/ASD/VSD closure, Valvuloplasty, ASA

Licenses & Certifications (Required):

• Active NY RN License (No compact accepted)

• BLS – AHA only

• ACLS – AHA only

• Telemetry and Dysrhythmia monitoring proficiency

• Moderate Sedation training required

Preferred:

• Cardiovascular Certification or RCES

• Familiarity with EP procedures, devices, and ablation support

• EP Lab experience is a strong plus
