• Behavioral health facility that serves individuals aged 65 and older. • Case types: Approx. 50% psychiatric and 50% neurocognitive disorders with behavioral disturbance. Many patients have multiple medical comorbidities and functional impairments and may require extensive assistance with ADLs. About 10% of our population is forensic.
• Patient ratios:
• RN - 1:34 long term unit / 1:19 admission unit
• LPN - 1:17
• CNA/DSA - 1:5 or 1:7 depending on unit
