Role Summary:The Ambulatory RN provides direct patient care in an outpatient/ambulatory setting within an acute care facility. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, delivering skilled patient care, and applying clinical judgment with minimal orientation and supervision. Experience in a similar level acute care hospital or trauma center is required.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license

• BLS certification, maintainable/recertifiable

• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience (within past 2 years) in a hospital of similar size/level

• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to perform the majority of patient care skills independently

• Competent nursing assessment in an acute care setting within specialty

• Adaptable to outpatient and ambulatory workflows
