Position Summary:The RN in the Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic provides skilled nursing care in an outpatient setting, performing assessments, triage, and patient care with minimal orientation. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience:

• Ambulatory care

• EPIC EMR

• Triage

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license

• BLS certification (current and recertifiable)

• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience (within past 2 years) in a hospital of similar or greater size/trauma level

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Duties:

• Perform majority of patient care skills in ambulatory vascular surgery setting

• Conduct nursing assessments appropriate for specialty with minimal supervision

• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to optimize patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation according to facility and regulatory standards
