• Must NOT be a former employee of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center
• Traveler must be willing to float to:
  • Inpatient Adult Behavioral Health
  • Detox Units
• No consideration will be given to:
  • Candidates with active licensure issues
  • Background check hits

The Adult Chemical Dependency Unit provides 24/7 care to patients aged 15 and older dealing with physiological dependency on:

• Alcohol
• Opiates
• Benzodiazepines
• Barbiturates
• Other substances

Many patients present with co-occurring psychiatric conditions, including:

• Depression
• Psychosis
• Bipolar Disorder

• Conduct comprehensive admission interviews and systematic physical assessments
• Develop and revise individualized care plans
• Perform direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and lead/facilitate therapeutic groups

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – REQUIRED
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – REQUIRED

➤ Must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in:

• Application of restraints
• Implementation of seclusion
• Ongoing patient assessment and care while in restraint/seclusionCompetency must be validated by the agency employing the RN.

• Behavioral Health Nursing Experience – REQUIRED
