Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

• Location: Rome, NYAssignment Type: Travel Contract

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience (1 year of travel experience preferred).
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS required. NIH Stroke Certification (must be completed prior to start).

• License: Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of assignment.

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures and monitor patients throughout.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as per protocols.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Paragon charting system.
• Manage medications and supplies using Pyxis system.
• Respond effectively in emergencies using BLS and ACLS skills.
• Participate in facility orientation and complete required CEUs (8 hours).
• Take part in call rotations (6 call shifts/month & 1–2 weekends/month).

Shift: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (FLEX DAYS)Schedule alternates between 4x10s or 5x8s, not to exceed 5 days/week40 hours guaranteed/week6 call shifts a month & 1-2 weekends a month.
