Endoscopy RN – Full-Time Contract (min 15 weeks)

36 Hours/Week + Call | Start Times 6:30–7:30 AM | No Scheduled Weekends or Holidays (Call Only)

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Endoscopy RN for a contract position offering 36 hours per week plus call. This position requires a 1-hour response time and involves call rotation, including two full weekends and one weekday per week, with 6–8 total call days per month, including at least one Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There are no regularly scheduled weekends or holidays, aside from call responsibilities.

Shift start times vary between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, depending on assignment (Pre-Op, Circulator/Tech, or Post-Op role).

This is an ideal opportunity for RNs with endoscopy or procedural experience who are skilled in assessment, care planning, patient/family education, and fostering healing environments.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Active NYS RN license
  • Current BLS (AHA)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to assess and care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Experience in procedural nursing or endoscopy preferred
  • Comfortable with early shift start times and rotating call
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ACLS certification
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated skill in infection prevention and patient safety
