Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays
Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,937.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $648.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,289.00 Per Week
Position Overview: Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on night shifts. This is a critical care role requiring specialized experience in CVICU and PICU settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in PICU or CVICU nursing.
Must have Epic EMR experience (REQUIRED).
Navy blue scrubs are mandatory while on duty.
Candidates from local ineligible counties will not be accepted (effective 1/11/2024).
Valid RN license with appropriate certifications for critical care nursing.
Ability to work rotating holidays and every other weekend.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
