Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following education & experience criteria:

• (A) Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Nursing from an accredited program + 2 years supervisory experience in professional nursing.
• (B) Graduation from an accredited 3-year school of professional nursing + 3 years professional nursing experience (including 2 years supervisory).
• (C) Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program + 4 years professional nursing experience (including 2 years supervisory).
• (D) Equivalent combination of training and experience as described above.

Licensure Requirement

• Must hold a current, valid New York State RN license in good standing at the time of appointment.

• Direct and coordinate all nursing services within the LTC facility.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Lead recruitment, training, and performance management for nursing staff.
• Foster a culture of quality improvement and resident-centered care.
