Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/08/2025 Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Jamaica, NY 11432 Department: Radiology Diagnostic Assignment Duration: 8 weeks (with possible extension) Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $3,303.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $1,000.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,303.00 Per Week Job Description: We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Radiology Diagnostic Department at Queens Hospital in Jamaica, NY. This role involves working with cutting-edge imaging equipment to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using gamma cameras and radiopharmaceuticals. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients under physician supervision. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities. Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license issued by NYSDOH . Certification through ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB . High School Diploma or GED required. BLS certification (preferred). Ability to commit to the full schedule including holidays as required. In-person interview required.
