Job Description: We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Radiology Diagnostic Department at Queens Hospital in Jamaica, NY. This role involves working with cutting-edge imaging equipment to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using gamma cameras and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients under physician supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license issued by NYSDOH.
• Certification through ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification (preferred).
• Ability to commit to the full schedule including holidays as required.
• In-person interview required.
