Job Description & RequirementsThe Critical Care RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. •Clearly communicates, both orally and in writing, to foster staff and patient understanding of treatment plan. •Displays sensitivity to the patient's needs such as physical, spiritual, and emotional and evaluates response to the delivery of care. •Supports and promotes organizational programs to ensure quality patient care. •Effectively manages department/patient activities in a time efficient manner to ensure the delivery of care is well-organized and proficient. •Provides quality customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to create a professional and respectful environment. Skills At least one year recent Critical Care experience in a similar healthcare setting. Previous Travel Required Trauma level I Education ________________________________________ Minimum Requirements: •2-Year Degree, Preferred 4-Year Degree. •Current RN Licensure required for State. •Required Credentials: NIH, BLS and ACLS certification (AHA). Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythimas, care of ventilated patient Scrub Color: Charcoal grey/pewter ________________________________________ Languages English (Speak, Read, Write) Certifications & Licenses ACLS BLS NIH RN Registered Nurse No local – We do not contract staff residing in the following counties : Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
