Job Title: MRI TechnologistLocation: White Plains, NY - 10601Shift: Evenings (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; 1 PM – 11 PM)Shift Length: 8 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per weekDuration: 13 weeks

Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled MRI technologist to join our acute care radiology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an inpatient hospital setting and be qualified to perform MRI procedures, including contrast injections.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans accurately following established protocols and safety standards
  • Administer contrast agents safely, monitoring patients during the procedure
  • Document all procedures using the Epic electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide high-quality patient care
  • Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines

Skills
  • Proficient in MRI equipment operation and scanning techniques
  • Skilled in contrast injection procedures and patient safety monitoring
  • Knowledgeable about MRI safety protocols and clinical standards
  • Experienced with Epic EHR system documentation
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work effectively during evening shifts and weekends
  • Detail-oriented and able to function well in fast-paced environments
Documents Required
  • Valid NY State MRI Technologist license
  • ARRT MRI (MR) certification
  • Certification to inject contrast agents
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
