MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year previous MRI Tech experience preferred. Previous experience in healthcare required.
• License(s):
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) credentials: R.T.(R )(MR)(ARRT) required.

OR American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) required

• Certification(s):
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Computer / Typing:
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
• Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

It is intended to be an accuratereflection of the general nature and level of the job. )Performs all radiographicexaminations according to Vail Health protocols.Review each examination fortechnical accuracy, send completed examinations to radiologist, andcommunicate pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of thepatient following the procedure.Identifies each patient andreviews exam order for consistency of examination ordered with clinicaldiagnosis. Reviews consistency of all demographic information includingphysician's name and signature, patient's name, and date.Maintain constructivecollaborative communication with patients, patient's family, physicians,co-workers and other members of health care team to contribute tocontinuity of care.Maintains established departmentpolicies and procedures, objectives, confidentiality, quality assurance,safety, environmental standards, radiation protection standards, infectioncontrol standards, and universal precautions.Maintains working knowledge anduse of the Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems to ensure qualitypatient documentation.Monitor supply inventory andnotify appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low.
