ATC Healthcare Services of Atlanta and Charleston is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Albany, Georgia.

Position Requirements- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (M) Certification- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross- Minimum of three years of paid experience as an MRI TechJob Responsibilities- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.- Prepare and position patients accurately to obtain optimal images while ensuring their safety and comfort.- Screen patients thoroughly for MRI contraindications, such as metal implants, pacemakers, or other devices.- Administer contrast agents as directed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment, adjusting parameters to capture detailed anatomical and functional images.- Ensure strict adherence to MRI safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and equipment from magnetic field hazards.- Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy.- Document patient history, procedures performed, and any relevant clinical observations.- Maintain accurate records and enter imaging data into the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).- Educate patients about the MRI procedure, address concerns, and provide reassurance throughout the exam.What is our Culture?There are a few things we look for across all hires at ATC, regardless of role or team.First, we look for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and who will thrive in a culture that values teamwork, grit, and innovation.
